Master the foundation for every great pant design. 👖✨ In this In person hands-on course, you’ll create your own pant block (sloper) tailored to your unique measurements. Learn to perfect fit through shaping, contouring, and seam adjustments that form the base for trousers, jeans, and shorts.

Class Dates: March 5th, 12th, 26th, and April 2nd
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 / 9:00 PM
Location: Sew It Goes Studio, London, Ontario
📌 What You’ll Learn
- Week 1: 📏 Take accurate lower-body measurements & draft your personal pant block (front & back).
- Week 2: ✂️ Understand dart shaping, crotch curves, and grainline placement for balance and comfort.
- Week 3: 📝 Add seam allowances, pattern markings, Pockets & Closures
- Week 4: 🧵Refine your pant block for a clean, professional base you can adapt into future designs.
🧷 Each week includes take-home work to reinforce classroom learning — giving you time to sew, fit, and develop your custom pant pattern between sessions.
🎯 By the End of This Course You’ll:
- Draft a personalized pant block from your measurements
- Identify and correct pant fit issues (balance, crotch curve, waistband placement)
- Understand pleats, darts, and contour shaping for different silhouettes
- Leave with a master pant sloper ready for endless customization — from tailored trousers to relaxed styles

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations & Refunds
🧾 Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, but due to the preparation and limited spots in our classes, we have the following cancellation policy in place:
Deposits:
A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot in any class or course. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances once paid.
Cancellations made 14 or more days before the start date:
You may cancel your registration and receive a refund for any amount paid beyond the 50% deposit.
Example: if you paid in full, you’ll receive 50% back.
Cancellations made 7–13 days before the start date:
No refunds are available, but we can offer a credit for the remaining 50% paid (excluding your deposit) to use toward a future class.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date:
No refunds or credits can be issued, as materials and prep time have already been allocated. You are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member at no additional cost.
Bundle Enrollments:
For multi-section or 12-week bundle registrations, the same policy applies per unstarted section. The initial deposit remains non-refundable.
Missed Classes:
Refunds or credits cannot be offered for missed classes. If space allows, we’ll do our best to provide a make-up session or a discounted seat in a future class.
Need More Studio Time?
Need extra time to sew or practice between classes? Add a Sew It Goes Studio Membership for access to machines, tools, and workspace during open-studio hours. Perfect if you don’t have a home sewing setup or want extra studio time to experiment and perfect your designs.
Sewing Club Membership
For individuals seeking additional sewing hours for their courses or a fully equipped studio for their sewing needs.
