At Sew It Goes, we don’t just sew dresses—we craft memories. Whether you're a bride dreaming of something truly you, a bridesmaid in need of a perfect fit, or looking for a custom outfit for a special event or Renaissance fair, we’re here to bring your ideas to life through thoughtful collaboration and careful craftsmanship.

We create eveningwear, fantasy and historical-inspired garments, and custom costumes. While we do not currently make suits or menswear, we love bold projects and only take on designs we’re genuinely excited about—because when the energy is right, the magic happens.

Our Process

1. Consultation Appointment: We’ll discuss your vision, style preferences, timeline, and budget.
2. Sketch & Fabric Selection: You’ll receive design ideas and fabric options based on your needs.
3. Fittings & Refinements: We’ll hold fittings and work through any necessary adjustments.
4. Final Creation: The final dress is made in-house with care and craftsmanship.

Note: We require a 50% deposit of the estimated cost before production begins. Remaining payment is due at final delivery.

Timeline & Pricing

We take on a limited number of custom projects per year to ensure each piece gets the attention it deserves. Please reach out well in advance so we can secure your spot in our schedule.

• Bridal Gowns: Minimum 12 months notice
  Starting at $1,000 for basic designs (2 fabrics, no appliqué or sheer overlays), and up to $5,000+ for more complex, layered, or appliquéd gowns.
• Bridesmaid Dresses: Minimum 9 months notice
  Starting at $250, with pricing depending on silhouette, fabric, and customization needs.
• Custom Corsets & Costumes (Ren Fair, Fantasy, Eveningwear): Minimum 5–8 months notice
  Costumes and gowns vary in price depending on design complexity and materials.

Final pricing depends heavily on fabric selection, design complexity, and the number of fittings or revisions. We’re happy to provide a personalized quote after your consultation.
