Refund policy
Classes & Courses
We understand that plans can change. Our class refund policy ensures fairness to all students while maintaining our scheduling commitments.
Deposits:
A 50% deposit is required to secure some spots in a class or course. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances once paid.
Single Classes & Workshops:
Partial refunds/credits are available if requested at least 48hrs before the class start time. After this period, no refunds are available, but you may transfer your spot to another friend or family member.
Courses (Multi-Session Classes):
Because of the preparation and limited space, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the start date will receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the deposit.

Cancellations made 7–13 days before the start date will receive a credit for the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) to apply to a future class.

Less than 7 days before the start date: no refunds or credits will be issued, as materials and prep time have already been allocated.

Missed classes: No refunds or credits are available for missed sessions, but we’ll do our best to accommodate a make-up option if space allows.
Cancellations by Sew It Goes:
If we need to cancel or reschedule a class, students will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer their enrollment to a future session of their choice.
Digital Patterns & Downloads
Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds on digital pattern purchases.
- If you experience technical difficulties downloading your file, please contact us for support.
- Refunds for digital products will only be issued in extraordinary circumstances, subject to approval by an associate.
Physical Products
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase! If you need to return an item, please review the following guidelines:
- Return Window: Returns are accepted within 15 days of purchase.
- Condition Requirements: Items must be unused, undamaged, and have all original tags attached to be eligible for a refund.
- Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or there was an error in fulfillment.
- Exchanges: If you would like to exchange an item for a different size or variation, please contact us. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
- Final Sale Items: Some products, such as custom-made or clearance items, may be marked final sale and are not eligible for returns.
Processing & Refund Timeline
- Refund Processing: Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Exchanges & Store Credit: If opting for an exchange or store credit, processing time may vary depending on stock availability.
- Refund Exceptions: If a return does not meet the eligibility criteria, we reserve the right to deny the refund request.
