In this 8-week intermediate course, you’ll draft, fit, and sew a polished pair of trousers from start to finish. Perfect for sewists who have completed a beginner course or have basic garment sewing experience and are ready to tackle more advanced techniques.

Whether you’re after a menswear-inspired silhouette or a more tailored feminine fit, you’ll choose from two professional-grade trouser patterns designed to help you level up your sewing game.

🧵 What You’ll Learn

• How to read, interpret, and adjust commercial patterns for a personalized fit
• Sewing pleats, darts, and hip pockets for shape and function
• Installing a fly front zipper and clean waistband finish
• Creating a neat buttonhole and button closure
• Finishing techniques, including hand-sewn and machine blind hems

By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a wearable, custom-fit pair of trousers — and the confidence to sew even more.

Missed Classes & Makeup Policy

We understand that life happens. One makeup session is included in your course package. Makeup classes are offered during our membership nights on Wednesday or Saturday evenings.

If you’d like additional sewing time beyond the included makeup class, we encourage you to explore our Sewing Club membership, which gives you access to studio machines plus light guidance from our instructors during club hours.
