Tailoring Tuesday - Basic Hem - Dec 16 & 30

Finally hem those pants you’ve had rolled up all year.

This session of Technical Tuesdays is dedicated entirely to pant hemming. Whether your pants are too long, uneven, or simply need a cleaner finish, we’ll teach you how to confidently hem them at home. This class is beginner-friendly, approachable, and designed to help you build a practical life skill.

Please note you will need basic sewing machine knowledge before joining these classes.

What You’ll Learn

• How to measure and mark a hem properly
• How to hand-sew a clean, invisible hem
• How to hem using a basic sewing machine
• A quick, no-sew option for fast fixes

What to Bring

• A pair of pants you’d like to hem
• OR nothing — we’ll provide practice samples if you prefer
